New here
Nobody walks in knowing anyone
Everyone in the room had a first Sunday. Here's what actually happens, so you can turn up already knowing what you're walking into.
What a Sunday looks like
Arrive whenever you can
We start at 11:00 at The Anchor Hub. If you are running late, come in anyway. Nobody will make anything of it.
Someone will find you
Tell us you are coming and one of us will be at the door looking out for you, save you a seat and introduce you to a few people.
Worship, then the Word
Live worship, then a message from Scripture you can take into your week. Sit, stand, sing, or just watch. All of it is fine.
Stay for the bit afterwards
Most of the actual friendship happens after the service. No pressure to stay, and no pressure to leave.
Next service: Sunday 20 September, 11:00 at The Anchor Hub, 19 Upland Rd, Bexleyheath DA7 4NR.
The questions people actually ask
When and where do you meet?
Every other Sunday at 11:00, at The Anchor Hub, 19 Upland Rd, Bexleyheath DA7 4NR. The next date is always on the home page and announced on our socials beforehand.
Do I have to come alone?
Bring whoever you like. Plenty of people come for the first time with a friend, and plenty come on their own and leave with a few.
Will I have to talk in front of everyone?
No. Nobody is put on the spot, asked to stand up, or made to introduce themselves to the room.
Is there anything mid-week?
Yes. Bible study runs biweekly in person or on Zoom, the Prayer Line is every third Thursday on Zoom, and Purpose Group runs monthly. All of it is on the events page.
